PLANT

Tenon owns a sawmill, boards plant, and mouldings manufacturing facility in Taupo, within close proximity to environmentally certified forests in the central North Island of New Zealand. The company has equity interests in two leaders in the US millwork market . The Empire Company (the largest distributor of mouldings to Lowe's) and Ornamental Mouldings (a manufacturer and distributor of decorative mouldings, mantels, and stair components). Tenon also has a North American wholesale office in Annapolis, Maryland (Fletcher Wood Solutions) and a China sourcing office in Guangzhou, China.

CURRENT MARKETS

Tenon focuses on selling NZ manufactured and globally sourced products into the US home improvement market. However, the company also participates in the Australian, Chinese, and European high-quality moulding, millwork, and outdoor markets.
