Load bearing structural members used for roofs, floors or other construction situations e.g. bridges, posts.

Finishing includes cutting, notching, drilling, metalwork connections, fittings and supply.

PLANT

Capable of producing beams up to 35m long. Fingerjointing, grading, defecting, gluing, planing up to 2.0m wide.

COMMENT

McIntosh Timber Laminates Limited was established in 1958 and is a family owned private business which employs 36 people. In October 1996 the company expanded into new premises in East Tamaki after 38 years in Panmure. It is the largest and most experienced company involved in the manufacture of structural laminated timber beams in New Zealand.

The development of export markets has been a key platform in the company's growth.
